Officer – AO&CS (Airport Operations and Customer Services)

1. Officer – AO&CS (Terminal Services)

As a Terminal Officer, you are the face of IndiGo at the airport. You’ll manage passenger services and ensure smooth operations across ticketing, check-in, boarding, and arrivals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle reservations, ticketing, cancellations, and refunds at the counter

• Address passenger queries and complaints both offline and over calls

• Setup and manage check-in counters during flight schedules

• Perform baggage screening and tag issuance

• Ensure accurate and timely boarding of passengers

• Assist special category passengers (e.g., elderly, differently abled, unaccompanied minors)

• Handle baggage claims, lost & found, and prepare relevant documentation

• Coordinate with multiple airport departments to ensure seamless operations

2. Officer – Ramp Services

Ramp Officers ensure timely aircraft turnaround by managing equipment and ground support logistics. This role requires physical fitness, coordination, and time-bound execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm flight ETA and coordinate bay allocation

• Oversee aircraft parking and ramp equipment alignment

• Ensure deplaning and boarding processes are efficient and safe

• Supervise loading/unloading of baggage and cargo as per the Load Instruction Report (LIR)

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures while using machinery

• Monitor and document aircraft arrival/departure timings

• Conduct post-departure equipment checks and complete ramp paperwork

• Collaborate with ground crew and flight teams for timely pushback

3. Officer – Security

As part of IndiGo’s aviation security team, your role is to protect passengers, crew, aircraft, and airport property from unlawful interference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-boarding security checks as per aviation safety protocols

• Monitor passengers and baggage for prohibited items

• Ensure compliance with BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) guidelines

• Respond to security alerts, threats, or suspicious activity

• Coordinate with CISF, police, and airport authorities as needed

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency response protocols

• Reduce loss, theft, and misuse of company property

• Participate in mock drills, training, and audits to stay operationally prepared

Location:

PAN India (All major airport cities)
